ReplyDeleteHahaha! Love it. In fact, that was pretty much my reaction to the "news" article I saw today pondering the question of how the Church is going to handle the "conflict" of a living ex-Pope. And you'd think we Americans would be particularly well-equipped to understand that, since we have about three living ex-Presidents, and there's no conflict as to who is actually President at the moment (whether we like it or not).
